Meyer’s “service and leadership” and embracement of “challenges with dedication and purpose” in the military during Operation Iraqi Freedom was, per his resume, spent as an assistant x-ray technician at Fort Carson, Colorado, and a hazard waste investigator at Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Was his allusion to a theater of war meant to impress the gullible?
I’m a Vietnam Era veteran. I never served in combat and have never alluded to anyone that I had. To do so would be to dishonor those who fought and died there or came home physically or mentally maimed. I would lose my integrity. I would be ashamed of myself.
I’ve contacted Meyer about this, but there has been no response. I don’t expect there ever to be a response. MAGA is like that. They don’t engage when truths emerge.
