The cowardly fears of the Park County Republican Central Committee

As their Facebook post this morning indicates, the Park County Republican Central Committee will not participate in commissioner candidate forums sponsored by the Park County League of Women Voters.

The Central Committee Chairman, Dave Wissel, frames his issue in the vocabulary of the demagogue, lofty verbiage calculated to get an AMEN! from his minions, a LET’S GO BRANDON! from his MAGA constituency.
He says, “No one may own the words of Republican candidates.”
Give me a friggin’ break, Buckaroo. The absurdities of righteous pontification calculated to impress the easily impressible is a rhetorical copout employed unabashedly by fraidy cats and wimp-ass demagogues.
The League of Women Voters sponsors nonpartisan forums. These are not debates but forums. Questions are asked and answered, period. The League’s policy concerning questions and videotaping is designed to maintain the nonpartisan nature of the event.
Wissel would like to impose his partisan rules on a nonpartisan process. You can’t make this stuff up.

If Wissel is afraid to allow his MAGA-infused candidates, Amy Mitchell and Jason Gemmer, to participate head to head, toe to toe with this year’s Democratic candidates, Robb Green and Jack Hansell, in an LWV candidate forum, may we ask why that is?
Oh, I know what he says. But what’s the real reason? Taking the bombastic, silly-assed demagoguery with a grain of salt, what does Wissel fear? Or, for that matter, what do Mitchell and Gemmer fear?
Yeah, this is no surprise. It’s classic Wissel. Classic MAGA.
By the way, this is MAGA candidate Jason Gemmer.
This is MAGA candidate Amy Mitchell.
And, as an extra added bonus, a little video to explain who Dave Wissel is.
