Park County’s Own

Writing in the September edition of the “Patriot Press,”–though the article is dated July–Michelle Hart, who is apparently valued by the newly constituted Park County Republican Party (now the party of Trump, not Lincoln) tells us that LGBTQ “societies” of reprobates provide children, “even infants” with sex partners. She calls this pedophilia.
(Michelle Hart may or may not be the editor, publisher, or both of the Lamplighter League Colorado Patriot Press. The paper doesn’t provide that information on its masthead or elsewhere.)
Pedophilia is abhorrent. We all know that. To rob a child of their innocence is a crime for which redemption or forgiveness is impossible. At least where I live, it’s impossible. Though countless studies have shown pedophiles are not exclusively homosexual, far from it, folks like Hart ignore the research to demonize what they believe the Bible tells them to or what the QAnon community’s latest conspiracy provides.
Here’s an example of Patriot Press’s September content. Please take note of what they apparently believe about Israel.

Pedophilia is a psychological disorder that affects adolescents and adults of either sex, though predominantly male. It can be opposite or same-sex-oriented and is directed toward pre-pubescent children. Most offenders are usually family, friends, or relatives of their victims. That an offender happens to be hetero or homosexual is incidental to the dysfunction of their psyche.
Hart effortlessly segues from pedophilia to Adrenochrome in her article. QAnon has had a long-running heyday with Adrenochrome, a conspiracy surpassing even that of the Big Lie madness.
Adrenochrome is a chemical compound produced by the oxidation of adrenaline or epinephrine. In the mid-20th century, it was thought to trigger schizophrenia because it produces hallucinations when ingested/injected. It has no current medical application, though the Q crowd and Hart believe it does.
Indeed, as Hart tells us, young children are abducted and tortured by Satanists, and the torture is prolonged to “raise the satanic energies,” which heightens the adrenaline levels in the child. The adrenaline is harvested before the child is killed, and Adrenochrome is produced from what they extract from the innocents.

And what is Adrenochrome used for? Hart tells us it keeps the Hollywood and liberal elites young. Plastic surgery doesn’t keep Cher and others looking youthful. It’s Adrenochrome, the most “highly addictive drug on the planet,” which restores youth to the elites. In fact, during the COVID lockdown, Q saw all those pictures of videos posted by Hollywood elites without their makeup, and, boy, howdy, those people looked old. Why? It’s simple. They couldn’t get their hands on Adrenochrome during the lockdown.
I am just wondering, if an elixir for eternal youth has been found, why hasn’t Pfizer cashed in on that? Why has it been kept a secret for so long? I’ll bet Pfizer could synthesize the stuff without kidnapping anybody.
Like I said, Q latched onto this silliness a long time ago. As anti-semitic as many, if not most, Qers are, it makes sense they’d latch onto the “blood libel” lie that posits that Jews use the blood of Chrisitan children to make matzah for Passover. The lie was a favorite trope of the Nazis, who repeated it often to justify pogroms and genocide. Q didn’t have to go very far to liken blood libel to harvesting adrenaline from small children to keep the elites young and happy.
And do you know why the elites feared Donald Trump? Well, of course, you do. He would end the Satanist’s machinations, including the production of Adrenochrome. The Qers even believed one of the first things Don’s good buddy, Vladimir Putin, did recently was to destroy plants in Ukraine that manufactured it. He even intercepted shipments of it to the US.
I don’t know if Hart’s words ring true with all of the newly-constituted Park County Republican Party. Is she in their fold, though? A Christian who has established uncompromising ideological lines where there’s only good and evil, a black-and-white world where rainbows are the calling cards of reprobates?
My paternal grandfather, whom I called Papaw, was for thirty-five years after turning forty, until his voice gave out at seventy-five, the soprano in the Capitol Hill Church of God quartet in Oklahoma City. He was heard far and wide over the airwaves of KLPR every day of the week and twice on Sunday. (That’s him on the far left.)

On one of our annual trips from Denver to Oklahoma City—I was maybe eight or nine at the time—Papaw took me to his brother’s farm outside the city. It had rained on the way out there, and rather than stay inside where my Great-Uncle Rube and Great-Aunt Opha were butchering a pig on the kitchen table, Papaw took me outside, where we walked the property overgrown with weeds and stumpy scrub.
When we turned back to the house, we both stopped, staring at the vast and vivid rainbow in the northwestern sky, the ends appearing to touch the earth. Papaw bent down and looked at my face.
“That’s it,” he said, seeing my smile. He knelt down and put his arm around my shoulders. “A smile is the only way rainbows we capture with our eyes can get free to rise again another day. If you don’t smile enough, there’d be no rainbows.”

If I had not known what a good Christian is before Papaw embraced me that day, I knew after that. And from that day to this, I measure Christians accordingly. And the ugliness of the Colorado Patriot Press, with page after page claiming God is on their side, doesn’t live up to or even begin to touch the bar Papaw set for me that day. The dismal content, the ugliness, the luridness, the lies, the conspiracies, and the utter darkness of that publication sickens.
As I said, do the words in the Patriot Press ring true with the majority of Park County’s newly constituted Republican Party? If they do, where does that leave the rest of us who surely have the capacity to smile when we see a rainbow?

Wow, what absolute insanity. I also know so many caught up in it. There’s no reasoning or logic, only paranoia and deep, deep seated fear. Logic certainly doesn’t win the day, nor reason. Perhaps it’s possible to exorcize the demon?
